Kids Baking Classes & Summer Camps in Birmingham, AL
Itty Bitty Bakers offers hands-on baking classes and summer camps for kids ages 3–14 in Birmingham, Alabama and surrounding areas. Students learn real baking skills while creating baked goods in a supportive environment designed just for kids. From McCalla to Trussville, from Chelsea to Gardendale, and throughout Hoover and Birmingham, kids enroll for baking experiences that are fun and build confidence in the kitchen.

Our classes and summer camps take place in the teacher's own home kitchen.
We are passionate about creating a safe, and comfortable environment for each child. To ensure security, we do not publicly share the home addresses of our teachers; these are sent via email once a class or camp is booked. All classes and camps are drop-off and pick-up. We have a wonderful team of Teachers and Youth Helpers who will welcome your child at the door. Since we are not allowed to assist children in the bathroom, all kids must be fully potty-trained before attending.

Lessons in our baking classes and camps include baking from scratch, dough work, measuring, mixing, and kneading, decorating and piping techniques, and kitchen safety.
After the recipe is placed in the oven, kids are kept engaged with activities such as making a drink to go with the recipe, doing a craft, listening to a storybook reading, playing a game, or conducting a food science experiment.
Once the recipe has baked and cooled, then comes the best part - tasting! Each student will get to sample a portion of their baked goods in class and also take some home to share with family.
For additional information on age-range flexibility, food allergies, safety measures, and more, please visit our FAQ page or Get in Touch. Also, be sure to subscribe to our mailing list to be notified when a teacher has posted a new class.
We look forward to baking with your child!
